Hi.

I’m Alison. This is where I house some of my longer writings, which don’t fit on Twitter or on the other places I contribute my writing. This is an intermittently updated blog on a number of diverse topics.

Professionally, I’m a hospital librarian. This is a strange, wonderful, challenging job. It feeds my love of information, falling down research rabbit holes, and doggedly pursuing clues, as well as teaching and helping people find what they need. Personally, I’m a writer, artist, and red lipstick enthusiast. I like reading but it’s not why I became a librarian. And my affections can be bought with cake.
